Losing The Plot by John Godber.

John Godber’s latest comedy is a two-hander - M1 F1 with one interior set. A prolific playwright, Godber is best-known for Bouncers and Shakers (co-written with Jane Thornton), April in Paris and Teechers.

Facing a midlife crisis, 40-something Jack Munroe walks out on his job, wife and family.  No explanations are offered, so his wife Sally copes as best she can.  Fast forward three months, and Munroe returns to discover that, in his absence, Sally has written a comic bestseller based on his life, times, and mysterious disappearance.  Let’s say that a few adjustments have to be made to their revived relationship!

The Perfect Murder by Peter James, adapted for the stage by Shaun McKenna

Creator of the Roy Grace books which have sold 14 million copies worldwide, James’s latest novella has now been dramatised by Shaun McKenna, featuring a cast of M3 F2.

Long-married couple Victor and Joan are having some problems in their relationship – Victor turns to prostitute Kamila ‘My wife doesn’t understand me…..’ while Joan resorts to use of Victor’s credit card to buy herself some sexy attire to impress her lover Don.

Inevitably, Victor’s bank account suffers, and he decides that the only way out of this dilemma, and to set up shop with Kamila is to get rid of Joan, once and for all.  Unfortunately, Joan has plans along similar lines herself.

Muddy Cows by John Godber:

Meet Maggie Deaking and her fellow rugby team members in John Godber’s latest comedy, as they take to the pitch in Muddy Cows (F7).

Scarfield Ladies RFC are contemplating hanging up their boots when they are invited to play in a lucrative Sevens competition.  Deciding to give it one last go before disbanding the club for good, by some miracle they reach the finals, only to face an invited team of professional players from New Zealand!  What will be the final score??!!

Immediately available for amateur performance – the script may be borrowed from DLI Library.

Last of the Duty Free by Eric Chappell

From opposite ends of the social scale, David and Amy, Robert and Linda meet in the San Remo Hotel in Spain.  Love and attraction know no social boundaries, so when the holiday romances develop under the Mediterranean sun, the stage is set for a classic farce -   misunderstandings, deceptions and far-fetched situations abound!

Eric Chappell is currently one of the top British comedy writers, and this latest caper features a cast of M4 F3.

Immediately available for amateur performance - the script may be borrowed from DLI Library.
