The Magic of Theatre - Outreach Workshop in Skerries

16th Oct 2021

Behind every cast that takes a bow and laps up the applause, is a team of creatives and technical crew who work together to bring a show to life. When a production works, it does so due to all the elements coming together. In a supportive and encouraging environment, this day long workshop seeks to bring actors, directors, designers, and tech crew together to find ways to make theatre alive and vibrant. Taking several scenes, we will work collaboratively to investigate how the creative team can support the work of the actors. Whether you shine brightly on stage or are part of the creative and tech team, this workshop could be for you!

TUTOR: Geoff O'Keeffe

Geoff O’Keeffe is a theatre director, actor and drama adjudicator. He has facilitated workshops for drama groups all over the country and has been in great demand as an adjudicator. He is Director for Mill Productions in Dublin, and holds an MA in Theatre Studies from DCU.
